The unlimited demand for healthcare in the face of limited resources has encouraged the adoption of health risk management (managed care) practices across the globe, and South Africa is no exception. This huge demand for healthcare, together with an ever-increasing number of laws and regulations governing the sector, has resulted in the need for a good understanding of industry dynamics and the practice of health risk management by all levels of staff.

IHRM offers opportunities via their accredited training, monthly breakfast seminars and workshops open to all industry players including funders, providers and employers, in fact, anyone interested in or working in the health risk management discipline, to come together in a neutral environment to learn, share, network and debate critical issues.
